diablo immortal Finally receiving its first major update since its June release, with this new patch, the developers are also rolling out a new season, which is scheduled to go live at 03AM server time.
Season 2 has a lot of content for fans, but some of the biggest highlights of the update will be the new Battle Pass and Vitaath raid boss encounters.
New weekend events have also been added to the game, with adventurers getting additional loot and gear as the new season officially kicks off.
Diablo Immortal Season 2 is one of the most anticipated updates, and it will be interesting to see if Blizzard listens to community feedback and addresses some of the major issues the game has been facing. The problem mostly concerns the game’s hidden paywalls and in-game microtransactions.
Features to Look forward to in Diablo Immortal Season 2
1) New Battle Pass: Blood Oath
Season 2 Battle Pass will revolve around Bloodsworn, followers of the Countess who revolted throughout the Dark Forest. The pass will contain 40 free levels and challenges, and adventurers will be able to earn rewards such as Crests Hilts and Legendary Gems.
Those looking to get the most out of the Battle Pass will be able to purchase its two paid versions, as doing so will upgrade it with additional loot. Players can get two versions of the Battle Pass, the Enhanced Battle Pass and the Collector’s Enhanced Battle Pass.
Enhanced Battle Pass:
The Enhanced Edition will have all the bonuses of the Free Ranked Edition, plus additional loot such as the Bloodsworn Weapon Skin and the Thorns-covered Bloodsworn Armor Skin. These are the premium exclusive rewards that Diablo Immortal Adventurers will receive upon reaching level 40 in the Battle Pass.
Collector’s Enhanced Battle Pass:
For the Collector’s Edition, the usual free Battle Pass rewards will be available along with the Authorized Pass rewards and additional loot. With this, players will be able to obtain the Bloodoath Clone Frame and Bloodoath Portal trinket, and instantly gain a tenth level boost.
Diablo Immortal Season 2 Battle Pass Will Last about a month and will end on August 4th at 3AM server time.
2) Vitaath the Shivering Death: New Helliquary raid boss
Vitaath will be a glacial threat in Diablo as she emerges from “the icy depths of the frozen tundra”. Known as Shivering Death, she will set out on a path of war that will engulf the entire temple in her ice.
Vitaath is the newest raid boss to raid the server, and if they manage to take her down, players will be able to get some impressive loot.
To begin this quest, adventurers will need to visit Helliquary in Rayek, Westmarch, and assemble a team of raiders willing to take on the challenge to defeat Vitaath and her “Grim Ice Age”.
3) New Weekend Event: Hungry Moon
A new weekend event called “The Hungry Moon” will also go live. After obtaining the seven blessings, the player should have enough goodwill to interact with the moon and exchange them for random rewards.
After providing them with enough blessings, the moon will offer its favor to the player. The event will start on July 15th at 3AM server time and will continue until July 18th at 3AM server time.Not sure if this will recur weekend activities.
