When Sheldon Jackson confessed not to be picked by India

in with Sports Kida Last month, the 35-year-old opened up about his not being noticed by the pickers. He says:
“Honestly, it’s not just happening this year, it’s been happening since the beginning. I don’t think there are many people in this country in terms of the number of runs and the rate of runs. If you look at about 6,000 runs over 75 games, it shows what I have achieved through hard work.”
Jackson added that he was considered “old” to play for India since he was in his 30s. He says:
“There was no communication (about why I wasn’t selected). But once I asked someone (about 2018-19 or 2019-20) what else I needed to do, I was told I was old. They told me over 30 and we didn’t Pick anyone. But in the end, a year later, they picked someone around 32-33.
