Previous Dallas Cowboys This week, star Terrell Owens was in a dire situation. The Pro Football Hall of Famer was said to avoid an accident with a cyclist while driving through a neighborhood.
Owens got out of the car and approached the woman on the bike who lived nearby. He had an altercation with her before police arrived at the scene. She claimed the former wide receiver ran a stop sign, to which he replied no. Then she claims:
“I told him to slow down but he got out of the car and started harassing me. He parked the car in the parking lot.”
“Yeah, because you didn’t yell at me and tell me I almost ran into you and I didn’t.”
The woman responds vilely:
“But you don’t have to get out of the car. You’re a black man close to a white woman.”
Owens responded that when her husband was by her side, she had no reason to feel threatened by him getting out of the car. She then claimed he had stopped the car and stepped out to approach her.
The Hall of Famer then called her “Karen,” a slang term for a white woman who was empowered, trouble-making and racist, and went on to defend her innocence to the police.
She continued to complain when Owens handed his ID to police at the scene. Owens then turned the camera to the woman on the bike, then turned it on himself and said:
“This is incredible. Swear to God. I’ve never been involved in anything like this. I’ve seen it, but this is firsthand. This is real life in 2022. Karen in real life.”
