Florida Governor Ron DeSantis warn Potential looters beware because Florida is a Second Amendment state.
Hurricane Ian made landfall on Florida’s west coast Wednesday as a Category 4 storm.
The eye of the storm hit Cape Coral, Fort Myers and Punta Gorda Wednesday with maximum sustained winds of 155 mph.
Gov. DeSantis described the damage as 500 years of flooding after the 9-foot-plus flood in Fort Myers.
Looting has been a big problem for people in areas devastated by Hurricane Ian.
“We are a policing state, this is a policing community,” DeSantis said Friday at a news conference in Fort Myers. “So don’t think you’re going to take advantage of those who are suffering.”

“Don’t even think about robbery,” DeSantis said later.
“I can tell you in Florida that you never know what might be hiding behind someone’s home,” DeSantis said. “If I were you, I wouldn’t want to take my chances — because we’re a Second Amendment state.”
Joy Reid slams DeSantis.
“When the looting starts, the shooting starts.” —Segregationist Miami Sheriff Walter E. Headley, 1967,” said MSNBC host Joy Reid. It didn’t take long for Teas to recover. “
Apparently Joy Reid thinks only black people rob?
