Mother of late Congresswoman Jackie Valorsky explains to President Joe Biden that her daughter is ‘in heaven’ as president apologizes during private meeting with family after an embarrassing gaffe , he forgot that the lawmaker had died.
The meeting, which lasted about 30 minutes, occurred before Biden signed a bill Friday that would rename the Indiana Veterans Affairs clinic in Walloxi’s name.
Because of the secretive nature of Biden’s retribution session, Keith Walorski, the late congresswoman’s brother, shed light on what was said.
Keith described the interaction between Biden and their 83-year-old mother, Martha “Murt” Wallowski.
“She said, ‘Okay, Mr. President, we can tell you where Jackie is. She’s in heaven with Jesus,'” he told New York Post.
Biden apologized to the family of the late Rep. Varowski for apparently forgetting that she was dead. The White House refused to admit that was what happened.

Keith Varowski noted Biden’s Catholic beliefs and suggested he could only acknowledge their mother’s comments after asking “Where’s Jackie?” Just a few days ago.
“He can only agree. He’s a very Catholic guy. His Catholic faith is strong. So all he can do is say, ‘Yeah, you’re right. I know,'” he told the Post.
Earlier this week, Biden called on the late congressman — even after she made a statement on her passing, flew flags at half-staff for half her staff and played a video tribute before he spoke. .
“Jackie, are you there? Where is Jackie,” he said, staring at the audience. “She will be here.”

Needless to say, as the mother explained, she wasn’t there, she was “in heaven”.
In early August, Walorski and two of her staff were killed in a car crash in Elkhart County, Indiana.
Biden’s shocking remarks led many to question the president’s mental state, including some reporters mocking White House press secretary Karin Jean-Pierre’s excuse that Valorski was just “a top priority.”
The reporter was referring to Biden’s call to the late Rep. Jackie Walorski: “I think about John Lennon almost every day, but I’m not going anywhere looking for him.”

They didn’t vote for Biden
Biden’s apology came as his press secretary took pains to argue that he didn’t say the wrong thing when he asked “Where’s Jackie?”
In addition to the closed-door apology, the president reportedly took his family on “a special tour of the West Wing, including his private dining room and rare outdoor pool.”
Walorski’s mother even sat in the Biden chair behind the Resolute Desk where she was photographed.
All of this seems odd considering he only called on the late lawmaker because she was “the most important person.”

While Keith Walorski noted that Biden is “a very Catholic man,” he cited religion as part of the reason his family has no intention of voting Democrat in 2024.
“Most of Biden’s agenda is not what you would call a conservative Christian agenda,” he said. “this is us.”
The congresswoman’s brother also said the conversation was relatively straightforward and wondered if the situation would have been different if the president had asked more complex questions.
“Our conversations were very casual,” Walorski said. “If we asked more complex political questions or anything that required more cognitive thinking, I don’t know where they would go.”
