The takeoff was at a private event at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas, and someone started shooting at an after-event party. Two others were also shot and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Mourning and thoughts poured in from social media everywhere. For his part, “Iron Mike” remembers his encounter with the 28-year-old, which he described as “such a bright light”. In a tweet, the legendary boxer said:
“Disgusted with @1YoungTakeoff. I’ve seen him a few times, such a bright light. May he shine forever now.”
In addition to his music, the rapper is an avid sports fan. He is a supporter of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and a longtime WWE fan.
Takeoff has a big presence on social media. Before his untimely death, he and Quavo had just released their latest music video, “Messy,” which was posted on YouTube and has already racked up over a million views.
Mike Tyson returns to AEW
According to reports, Mike Tyson will Return to AEW next week as a guest announcer for a live broadcast AEW Rampage At Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ.
Tyson’s first AEW sighting came on the 2020 double or no pay-per-view show where he helped Cody Rhodes beat Lance Archer.He also made a cameo appearance on the May 27, 2020 episode AEW explosives Fight alongside the likes of Henry Cejudo, Rashad Evans and Vitor Belfort.
April 7, 2021, Tyson makes another cameo AEW explosives, and rescued Chris Jericho from The Pinnacle’s men. A week later, the former heavyweight champion returned to AEW as a special guest in the singles match between Jericho and Dax Harwood.
