This Wall Street J. (Jeffrey Trachtenberg) wrote on October 31 (but I somehow missed it):
This book is published by the Sentinel imprint of the Bertelsmann company Penguin Random House. “We remain fully committed to publishing authors who, like Justice Barrett, have substantially shaped some of the most important conversations today,” Adrian Zackheim, publisher of Sentinel, a leading conservative agency, said in the publisher’s first public account of the situation The comments say….
Mr Zackheim added that Sentinels “publish books so that people can read them, and evaluate them for themselves. In a smart free society, we need to spread ideas in a strong form so we can discuss them.”
This is in response to a open envelope From multiple authors, translators, agents and Penguin Random House employees urging the publisher to cancel the book as Justice Barrett Dobbswhich argues that the Constitution does not protect the right to abortion.
