Drew McIntyre has withdrawn from this week’s WWE SmackDown.
He was scheduled to team up with Sheamus to face the winner of Usos vs. Elias and Matt Riddle Watch the Undisputed Tag Team Championship match tonight on RAW.
McIntyre announced he had to withdraw from the fight due to his poor health. As of now, no replacement label partners have been announced for the Celtic Warriors.
“Unfortunately I’m medically ineligible to compete on #Smackdown this Friday, and as you all know, I don’t want to miss anything, but I promise I’ll be back soon,” McIntyre tweeted.
Sheamus responded to McIntyre and pointed out that they needed him with The Brawling Brutes.

Drew McIntyre has become a fan favorite wwe. He leads the company during the pandemic and is a two-time WWE Champion. Surprisingly, Drew has yet to lift a title in front of fans.
Earlier this year, he almost became the champion of Clash at the Castle, but roman rule Retained after Solo Sikoa interfered with his main debut.
One wrestling fan suggested on Twitter that RAW and SmackDown should air every other week to prevent injuries.
“One more down, idk is it me or should I play down and raw like every other week? That way they have more time off and more time to tell better stories, especially on Monday night raw.”
Another fan pointed out that McIntyre has been a staple of the company and has been consistently good in games.
“You’ve been a workhorse and keep delivering sausages to our fans and we appreciate that. Wishing you a speedy recovery!”
Another Twitter user noted that it was heartbreaking as they were hoping to see the championship match on SmackDown this Friday.
