Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has shared his thoughts on England captain Harry Kane’s penalty miss against France in the FIFA World Cup quarter-finals.

France will now be in 2022 FIFA World Cup Semi-finals on December 14.
Harry Kane misses penalty in England’s loss to France

Kane said:
“I’m not someone who thinks too much. If I get a penalty or two in a game, I’ll be ready. I can’t blame my preparation or the pre-match details.
“It didn’t feel any different, I was pretty confident taking it, I just couldn’t execute it the way I wanted to, and of course that’s something I’m going to have to live with and put on my chin.”
He added:
“But all we can do is be proud of each other and know that the team is in a really good place and we have to try and look to the future.”
The England captain has two goals and three assists in five appearances at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
