National Public Radio has an interview with Newt Gingrich this week, and things are not going well for NPR.
They apparently had Newt bashing Trump and the Republicans, but things didn’t go as planned.
Gingrich countered the liberal narrative in real time, causing the moderator to pause and repeat certain questions.

NPR interviewed Newt Gingrich on all things Friday, ostensibly to highlight President Biden’s success. Their headline on NPR.org read, “Newt Gingrich Thinks GOP Needs to Stop Underestimating Biden.” When Newt says the 2020 election is “rigged,” anchor Mary Louise Kelly can’t help but pull into the woods , as in Twitter Review and Zuckerbucks.
KELLY: But it’s always been what he wanted to talk about — I mean, he repeatedly lied about the election being stolen, and I have to point out that you supported and talked about and spread that. That does seem to be flat out with midterm voters. Yes – how much of a problem is this for the Republicans?
Gingrich: Look. I’d love to have time to come back and we can spend an entire interview debating whether or not this was a rigged election – not necessarily stolen, but definitely rigged. And we can start with all the information on Twitter, we can start with Zuckerberg’s $415 million.
Kelly: I just need to pause you there because that’s not what I said. This is among the dozens of courts across the United States that have rejected allegations of election fraud.
Gingrich: No, no. They rejected the notion that the election was stolen. Nobody looked at the rigging.
KELLY: For the record, do you think Joe Biden is the legitimately elected president?
GINGRICH: For the record, I believe he won on the set terms, and I think the entire meritocratic system did everything in its power to defeat Donald Trump.
