Donald Trump is suing the Pulitzer Prize committee over the award over a “Russian collusion” story promoted by the New York Times and Washington Post.
The lawsuit, filed in Okeechobee County, Florida, states that the awards were based on a “manifestly false connection” that “was and remains the established basis of their story.”
The complaint goes on to claim that “a large group of Americans have a profound misunderstanding of the truth” because time and post Promoted the “Russian scam”.

The New York Times and The Washington Post are jointly awarded Pulitzer Prize in 2017 for coverage of former President Trump and his alleged ties to Russian agents during the 2016 presidential campaign.
Staff members of these newspapers were awarded $15,000 for “outstanding examples of reporting on national affairs using any available journalistic tool.”
