A mugshot of Sam Brinton, a former Biden Department of Energy official accused of stealing luggage at least twice, was released to the public on Wednesday.
Brinton was arrested in Las Vegas and was later registered and released on bail by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) on an outstanding warrant.
His bail was set at $15,000 and the court directed him to make it “stay out of trouble”.
Brinton, who allegedly stole luggage from Las Vegas’ Harri Reid International Airport, was charged last week with grand larceny with a value between $1,200 and $5,000. The bag also contained $1,700 worth of jewelry and other high-priced clothing and cosmetics, according to records.
This high value means Brinton now faces up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
But for our purposes, it’s not mugshots that need attention. Here’s a flood of hilarious responses to it.
