Ronna McDaniel faces an increasingly difficult battle to keep her seat as RNC chair.
After the disappointing results of the 2022 midterm elections, a growing number of Republicans want to see a leadership change at the RNC.
The Texas GOP has made it clear they do not support McDaniel.
Now, a Republican official in Nebraska has withdrawn her endorsement.
Breitbart News Report:
Nebraska GOP chair withdraws support for RNC chair Ronna McDaniel
Nebraska GOP Chairman Eric Underwood sent a letter to the Republican National Committee (RNC) withdrawing his support for Rona McDaniel’s re-election bid.
“At this time, I am withdrawing my support for Chairman McDaniel,” he wrote in a letter first reported by PostMillennial, adding that he would “make no further comments on any leadership of the RNC. Publicly support.”
McDaniel is running into headwinds as he seeks a fourth two-year term as RNC chairman following Republicans’ poor midterm election results last month.
“I have decided to bring the issue of RNC leadership to the elected members of the Nebraska Central Committee for a vote at our January 21st meeting,” Underwood said. “I will vote for the 166 SCC members on their aspirations for the RNC chair, and I will represent the will of the ‘people’.”
“Let me be clear, if the next six weeks leading up to our RNC Winter 2023 meeting is about taking a stand publicly, winning favor and ‘loyalty’ to any leadership, or choosing to fight for the people of Nebraska… …I chose the people of Nebraska, Nebraska,” he added.
Additionally, the Arizona Republican Party recently passed a resolution calling for McDaniel to resign.

Those on the right are ready for change. RNC should listen.
