Some high-income countries, including the US, UK and Australia, have pledged to spend more than US$10 billion a year on programs to protect biodiversity, effectively doubling the amount of such funding in the next few years.these commitments to Agreement finalized at COP15 biodiversity summit In Canada, but they’ve only scratched the surface of what’s needed to halt and reverse biodiversity loss.
