The entire world, apparently including Myles Garrett and the rest of the Cleveland Browns, had its eyes on Qatar this morning for the FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and France. Lionel Messi led his side to victory and for Garrett the debate over the greatest player of all time is over.
Garrett expressed his views on Twitter.

He tweeted:

There is much debate about the greatest player in football history. It’s not as clear-cut a debate as it is in other sports, because no one has truly achieved domination over his peers the way Tom Brady has in the NFL.
Zach Wilson was promoted to the starter, making the Detroit Lions the favorite to beat the New York Jets who beat him.
A lot of different players were considered in that conversation, namely Messi’s counterpart, Cristiano Ronaldo. For Garrett, the debate is over. Messi is the greatest touch player of all time.

Myles Garrett was able to watch the FIFA World Cup final in large part because he and the Cleveland Browns didn’t play today. For the first time all season, a game will be held on a Saturday, and one will involve the Browns.
