CBS “Face the Nation” host Margaret Brennan claimed that the Biden administration does not allow media outlets to film inside illegal immigration detention centers.
Brennan is surprising, but little known allegation In the segment discussing the potential impact of a Title 42 overturn on the border crisis with Rep. Tony Gonzalez (R-TX).
Gonzalez provided the media with a cellphone video he took inside one of the detention centers.
“I just want to say to the viewers who are watching the video you provided to CBS, I believe you filmed it in these facilities,” she said.
Brennan added, “We are relying on cellphone video, in part because CBS News and other media outlets have not been given permission to film in these facilities recently.”

Fox News national correspondent Bill Melukin said the video showed “extremely crowded” border patrol central processing centers in El Paso, Texas.
Melugin noted that Gonzales claimed the facility was being bombed — even before Title 42 failed — 342 percent above capacity.

Is it any wonder, as Brennan said, that the Biden administration might not want to release videos of illegal immigration detention centers to the public?

A Hurricane for Illegal Aliens
Gonzalez described the scene at the border as a “migrant hurricane.”
“Things in El Paso are terrible. As you know, the city has declared a state of emergency. That’s what you do when you have a hurricane, a fire, or an earthquake,” he told Brennan. “What’s happening is a hurricane of migration and everybody’s being affected.”
He described conditions at the center as reprehensible.
“What I saw was hundreds, over 500 immigrants … in a pod, what they called a pod, which was essentially a big cell for about 100 people,” he explained. “There was only one bathroom and it smelled bad. There were eight pods in it. So those are OK situation. “
Elsewhere, Gonzalez said, “more than 1,000 migrants were waiting outside, not to mention people waiting on … bridges and other places.”

what are you do not See Democrats filming inside illegal immigration detention centers these days, like they did when Donald Trump was president.
“The cruelty we are witnessing today was not an unintended consequence or side effect,” Rep. Jim McGovern (D-MA) wrote in 2019. “That’s the goal.”
We have been able to confirm what other members of Congress have heard and seen:
– Has not showered for more than 40 days.
– Lights were on all night and people were sleeping on concrete floors.
-Some people complain that they are hungry. pic.twitter.com/ob6kiwrCoQ— Rep. Jim McGovern (@RepMcGovern) July 13, 2019
last time mcgovern even mentioned the word The “immigration” feature on his social media profiles came as far back as September, when he was outraged by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for sending illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard.
Equally eerily silent is far-left representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who once posted a picture of herself tearing up outside an illegal immigration detention center and called it a “concentration camp.”
I will never forget this because at that moment I saw firsthand that the America I love was becoming a country that stole refugee children from their parents and put them in cages.
After this, more children died. So far, no one has been held accountable.
We need to save these children. https://t.co/HhdMqc5zML

What a world class hypocrite.
In the blink of an eye, AOC went from “we need to save these kids” to “well, okay”.
NBC News President Noah Oppenheim in 2018 complained that The media did not have enough access to these facilities, and they were “fighting back” against then-President Trump.
“The public expects, demands and has the right to see a true picture of what’s going on inside these detention centers and how this policy is being enforced in their name,” he told PBS News.
Where is the same level of outrage among Democrats and the media today?
