When Haberman refused to call Donald Trump a racist, she made her position clear.
Maggie Haberman built her career on her contacts with Trump. Without inside information from Trump and his inner circle, she means nothing in journalism.
Either Haberman sold herself to Trump, or she’s doing the worst access journalism job ever, agreeing to be nice to Trump in exchange for inside information that will make her rich reporting on Trump.
If those close to Trump view Haberman as friendly, her report should be viewed with suspicion. It’s shocking that so many people on the American left and center don’t understand that corporate media figures like Maggie Haberman sympathize with Trump and other Republicans.
Corporate media is not neutral. They don’t care about facts. The number one priority for corporate media is profit.
Maggie Haberman was media friendly to Trump, CNN didn’t ask her about that claim in the 1l6 committee transcript and ignored it because being Trump friendly is part of the corporate media business model.
