The MLB reduced Trevor Bauer’s 324-game suspension to 194, and he’s already served. As such, he will be eligible to play for any major league team when the 2023 season resumes. He was suspended for violating MLB’s joint domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse policy. He is currently signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Ball’s time as a major league pitcher has been put on hold amid sexual assault allegations. Now that the suspension is reduced to the time he has already missed, he can restart his career. Though it’s unclear if the Dodgers will welcome him back to their roster now that he’s served his suspension.
Bob Nightengale reported the commutation via Twitter.
