WWE veteran Dutch Mantell was so impressed with top AEW star Eddie Kingston that he was brought back to television this week by Tony Khan.
Kingston, who hasn’t been in a major game or segment since Full Gear pay-per-view, was booked to join Ortiz in a promotional segment for Rampage. The two faced the Black family.
Talking about the latest edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling clap clap, Mantell recalled his days working with The Mad King in TNA. He also praised the popular star for various reasons.
“It’s fun to sit and chat with him. But you don’t know what he’s going to say, even though he’s friendly, if he likes you. We had him in TNA and I loved him. I never heard him talk, I” I thought, ‘Why? I just got there and said, ‘Why don’t you let these people start talking? They said, ‘Well, we don’t know either’ and he just went there and just ruined the interview, pointless. The other thing about Eddie is, you kind of believe in him, too,” Dutchmantle said. Tony Khan may be plotting House of Black and Eddie Kingston-Ortiz feud

After a brief encounter with Ortiz, House of Black was called out by Kingston on this week’s Rampage. Tony Khan’s promotion appears to be teasing the idea of a possible showdown between the two teams.
