After the Senate minority leader voted for a massive $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill, Donald Trump suggested Democrats must have some compromising information on Mitch McConnell.
Trump made the comments in multiple posts on his Truth social media platform.
“Marxist Democrats must have something really big on Mitch McConnell to get him and some of his friendly ‘Republican’ senators to pass the dreaded ‘all-Democrat’ ominous bill,” he wrote.
The former president also noted that the bill “hands border security to other countries,” does nothing for the U.S. border, and “funds a corrupt ‘judiciary’ department,” which he claims “rigged” the 2020 year presidential election.
Trump: Democrats have big influence over McConnell
In another post, Trump reiterated claims that Mitch McConnell was being blackmailed by Democrats.
“They must know something about McConnell because what he’s doing is unthinkable – a Democrat’s dream!” he wrote.
He later added, “If the old crow had only waited 10 days, the Republican majority in the House could have made the ‘ominous’ bill much, much better.”

“It’s just another victory for the Democrats, Mitch, and this wouldn’t have happened if ‘Trump’ was President!”
political insider previously reported The omnibus spending plan passed within days of Republicans taking control of the House of Representatives, which has until September 2023 to relinquish fiscal power.
Among other things, the bill includes an overhaul of election counting laws to prevent a repeat of what happened on Jan. 6, and nearly $45 billion in aid to Ukraine.
They can no longer talk about border security.
Congress has allocated over $110 billion to secure the Ukrainian border and denied over $1.3 billion to secure the U.S. border four years ago because Trump is a racist…

According to “Politics Insider” Katherine AndersonThe bill prohibits funding Customs and Border Patrol to “acquire, maintain or expand border security technology and capabilities.”
“You’d think the Republicans would be at least outraged by this,” she wrote.
Not Mitch McConnell though. No, his priority is Ukraine, not America.
“According to most Republicans, providing aid to the Ukrainians to defeat the Russians is America’s No. 1 priority right now,” McConnell erroneously said.
Deroy Murdoch daily caller news foundation Claims McConnell, whom he describes as Chuck Schumer’s “redneck tenant,” is “helping Democrats emasculate House Republicans for 10 months.”
This is not just a shame for McConnell.

McConnell offers his opinion
Since the results of the midterm elections were announced, Mitch McConnell has become quite cheeky with his remarks about Donald Trump. The result left the Republican swamp creature feeling the ex-president’s power was diminished by the result.
“Here’s what I think has changed: I think the political influence of former presidents has diminished,” McConnell told NBC News last week.
To him, this seemed to indicate that he must now bow to the Democrats. This is the mentality of a political loser who is so often beaten and defeated that he is willing to bend the knee at the first sign of trouble.
That was a guy who was no longer part of the leadership.

Before that, McConnell celebrated the Jan. 6 special committee announcement of Trump’s criminal referral.
“The entire country knows who is responsible for that day,” he wrote in a statement after the news release.
There is a pattern here. One pattern suggests McConnell is being wooed by the Liz Cheney/Adam Kinsinger wing of the Republican Party. Which is to say, he’s hardly a Republican at all.
