This season, he’s averaging 11.3 points while shooting 53.1 percent from the field, 40 percent from three-point range and 90.4 percent from the free-throw line. Completing those splits would put him in elite 50/40/90 company.

When asked how he improved his shot, Reeves talked about how his new shot made him feel so much better:
“Just a little bit of emphasis can really get my follow-up ‘through the ground,'” he told SCNG. “Instead of pushing it, really grabbing the wrist and holding it, keeping the shot is the point. But really, what it comes down to is just being in the gym every day, doing a few reps a day.”
11.3 points per game in 29.5 minutes per game may not impress many, but that’s what Reeves does on both ends of the floor. The scoring average isn’t low either, and Reeves talked about how he’s starting to become a better scorer.
“I don’t feel like I have to go into the paint and push hard,” he said. “I can run in the lane, use fakes, get to the free throw line, make plays. Never trying to be one-dimensional, so the shots I get in the paint are really good. They’re never really super tough shots. “
