Asteroids will be the focus of space exploration in 2023. With the launch of two flagship missions, one to a moon of Jupiter and the other to a strange metallic asteroid, we are poised to unravel the many mysteries of how these asteroids formed and what they look like today. These findings should lead to a broader understanding of the habitability of our solar system.
