this NBA There are a lot of things that people want to change. Many analysts had things to say about how the league could get better. Change is also very simple.
That comes from players being blatantly absent, not back-to-back games and so on. It’s hard to argue with many of these analysts because they want players to just play. It’s been a hot topic for the past few years, and the questions are only going to grow.
NBA changes ESPN analysts recommend
Brian Windhorst talked about the changes he’s looking for in the NBA, saying the league shouldn’t be playing overtime anymore. This one is a little hard to agree with, because for most fans, free basketball is great.
“If I want to change one thing in the NBA, it’s overtime,” Windhorst said. “In the G League, they’ve had two minutes of overtime and they’ve even been trying to end Elam lately, with a goal score to make the game quicker and more exciting.”
Andrew Lopez said he doesn’t expect back-to-backs in the same city.
“While I like the idea of having these baseball series … back-to-back home games in the same city, let’s spread them out,” Lopez said. “There’s no reason the Pelicans and Phoenix should have played all their games before Christmas.”
Bobby Marks doesn’t want any more back-to-backs.
“Can we get away with back-to-backs?” Marks said. “I’m tired of looking at stats or opening a game and seeing the ugly words of load management while some of our All-Stars rest. Let’s start 66 games, NBA.”
Nick Friedell wants the NBA to cut back on the regular season. Maybe fewer regular-season games could see stars play more.
“Less regular season,” Friedel said. “The players don’t care about these regular seasons. The fans don’t care about the regular season either.”
Ohm Youngmisu blamed the medical staff for the team’s sat players. While they certainly did it out of caution, it’s an interesting statement.
“It’s the medical team staff that prevent players from playing back-to-back games and the minute limit,” Youngmisu said. “I understand why it’s done. We have to keep our star players healthy, but when a team comes along and a team only plays one game in one city for the entire regular season, it’s really bad.
“Fans buy tickets to see the stars play, and the stars or stars are excluded from the games.”
Tim MacMahon doesn’t want a technical foul for taunting or trash talking.
“I’m coming off a technical foul for taunting and trash talking,” MacMahon said. “If you don’t want someone in your face, if you don’t want someone, you know, talking in your face, don’t let them Dunk on you, don’t let them go over you. Let the players perform for the fans, and sportsmanship is the most overrated thing in all of sports.”
