Romeo Beckham, son of former England captain David Beckham, has joined Brentford B on loan from Inter Miami until the end of the season. The 20-year-old will be part of the Bees’ reserve squad.
The right-winger will make his mark in English football and in some ways follow in the footsteps of his father, a Premier League legend Manchester UnitedBeckham made 388 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 85 goals and assisting 109 times, winning six Premier League titles.
Romeo played 26 times for the Inter Miami B team, scoring 2 goals and providing 10 assists. He impressed the Brentford coaches during his trial at the club. He joined on a six-month loan after the MLS season.
He is the second son of his predecessor real Madrid Wing David joined Fort Lauderdale CF in 2021 before being renamed Inter Miami II. In July 2022, in the pre-season friendly match between the Miami International first team and Barcelona, Romeo got 6 minutes of playing time.

David Beckham hails Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka as quality
Saka has impressed the Manchester United icon during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The Arsenal winger scored three goals in four appearances for England, who were knocked out in the quarter-finals.

He praised Saka as a fine player to play alongside Dortmund teenager Jude Bellingham. The former PSG midfielder also explained how beneficial the game was for Gareth Southgate’s young side. He told Beanymansports:
“You look at the quality of Bukayo Saka, and then you look at the quality of Jude Bellingham, and the players in our country.”
He added:
“I think that’s a real positive. These tournaments whether you win a game or get knocked out early, it’s always an experience that you can have in the next game or the next game.”
