A mental health service that allows people to test AI-generated responses without first notifying the recipient, allowing people to get encouraging support and advice from others.
Rob Morris, founder of Koko, a free mental health service, said in a statement series of twitter posts How the company is testing using a chatbot to provide mental health support to around 4,000 people. The chatbots are powered by GPT-3, a publicly available artificial intelligence built by San Francisco-based company OpenAI.
