Voters gathered outside the office of so-called Rep. George Santos (R-NY) of Queens, New York, and pledged to make his life a nightmare before he resigns.

One of the speakers said that Santos is confident, “He’s going to pull through and these two years are going to be a piece of cake. I’m here to remind you, George, that it’s going to make every day in this district until you get to us.” A living nightmare… We know George Santos doesn’t live here, but what George Santos doesn’t know is that Long Islanders don’t give up so easily. We won’t just roll over and accept that our Congressman is a liar, liar and liar. We won’t take it lightly Give up and we will continue to work with Republicans and Democrats to hold him accountable for him to stand up and make every day a living nightmare until he does the right thing and resigns.”
George Santos voters are doing what Speaker Kevin McCarthy refuses to do. They are pressuring Santos to resign. McCarthy would not take a stand and refused to let Santos on the committee because he needed his vote. If McCarthy gets Santos to backtrack and reject his committee allocation, he could lose his 25 percent House majority.
