LeBron James and Tom Brady have dominated their respective sports for more than two decades. “King James” is playing his 20th season, and “TB12” just finished his 23rd year playing quarterback in the NFL.
After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were eliminated by the Dallas Cowboys a few hours ago, Brady’s future is now in doubt. James had this to say about his favorite quarterback in a courtside postgame interview after the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Houston Rockets:
“Follow your heart and your gut will tell you what to do. That man has been doing it for over 20 years and he’s been doing it at such a high level. As always, my best wishes not only [to] My favorite quarterback and dear friend.
No matter what he decides to do, I love seeing him on the court. It gave me the inspiration to keep going at my age and see what happens. “
Tom Brady is uncertain about his future after a loss to the Cowboys. He told the media after the game that he was just going home to rest and go through the day. Still, if he ends up retiring for good, the NFL will arguably lose its biggest name.
While Brady’s season is over, LeBron James’ Los Angeles Lakers are still desperately trying to secure at least one berth. They improved to 20-24 after a 140-132 victory over the Rockets, still in 13th place in the West.
In 2019, LeBron James put himself in the same boat as Tom Brady:
“I’m the same guy as Tom Brady. We’re going to play until we can’t walk anymore.”
NFL GOAT bravely responded to James’ post:
“I played until I couldn’t dunk anymore!”
Before the start of the 2022-23 NFL season, Tom Brady doesn’t think he can dunk anymore. He retired for a full 40 days, eventually relinquishing his decision because “there’s still unfinished business.”

Most basketball fans and analysts have run out of superlatives to describe LeBron James’ performance this season. Forget playing at the All-Star level, because he’s on par with some of today’s hottest MVP candidates.
Four-time NBA MVP admits Father Time is unbeatable, but so far he shows little sign of slowing down. James has averaged 37.0 points, 9.7 rebounds and 8.6 assists in seven games since turning 38 on Dec. 30.

Without Davis, James played like a player with Russell Westbrook, the main contender for Sixth Man of the Year… When healthy, they’ve proven they can compete and even beat the best teams in the NBA.
If Anthony Davis returns to MVP-caliber form and “King James” keeps up his incredible scoring pace, the Lakers could make the playoffs.
