Kevin Nash is basketball’s loss and wrestling’s gain. Before becoming one of the iconic figures of WWE, Nash aspired to one day play in the NBA.
Nash, who became a wrestling legend known as “Diesel,” spent three years at the University of Tennessee with the SEC. However, an incident in college forced him to give up his basketball dream.
The big man reportedly got into an altercation with former coach Don DeVoe, who allegedly blamed Nash for the loss to Kentucky. Nash “beat him up” after his jersey was reportedly “snatched” by the head coach.
