A historic building caught fire in Lima on Friday as protests against Peruvian President Dina Boluarte continued.
Firefighters struggled to extinguish the blaze, which is believed to have been empty during the blaze.
Dozens have been killed in weeks of demonstrations in Peru following the ouster of former leader Pedro Castillo.
Demonstrators want Ms Boluarte to step down and call for new elections, and are demanding the release of her leftist predecessor, Mr Castillo.
